Methods for Applying for Pensions
Eligible individuals within the limits of Poonjar Grama Panchayat can apply for social security pensions either online or directly.
How to Apply Online (Sevana Portal)
- Applications can be submitted online by yourself or through Akshaya centers via the official online portal of the Local Self Government Department named 'Sevana'.
- Required documents need to be scanned and uploaded.

How to Apply Directly at the Panchayat Office
- Application forms can be downloaded and filled out either directly from the Poonjar Grama Panchayat office or from the official website.
- Submit the filled application along with all required documents to the respective section at the Panchayat office.
- Ensure to keep the receipt obtained from the office after the application is accepted.

Documents to be Submitted with the Application
- Copy of the applicant's Aadhaar card
- Document proving age (School certificate, Election ID card, etc.)
- Income Certificate from the Village Officer (Family Income Certificate)
- Copy of the bank passbook
- Passport size photograph
- Medical certificate or death certificate (as applicable for Disability/Widow pensions)
